ROUSE TENNIS TEAM
Tournament Rain out:
Outdoor sports in general can be hit or miss. I spoke with Pricipal Graham on 3-10-16 he informed me of the Rouse policy on returning athletes to class. Atletes need to prepared for class even if they will be excused to a tournament. I feel for the atletes because they need to prepare mentally for the competition and that needs to be the sole focus to perform at their best. On the other hand, tennis players are student/athletes in the truest sence and need to prepare for both disciplines with the possibilty of returning for academics in case of event cancellations. For future events athletes should be prepared, to the best of their abilities, for the excused academic day. For my part, I will be asking the kids to return to class and will be sending an "ALL RHS" e-mail informing teachers of the tennis teams return.
